Pressure-Adaptive Provenance Substrate Simulator

Interactive reviewer console for Trace Capsule state movement, bounded closure, HIR/OAM pressure flags, repair routing, source-return, and local-only PDF trace receipts.

What this is

A static, reviewer-facing simulation of a pressure-adaptive provenance substrate.

It shows how PDF / Adobe-style document workflows, C2PA / Content Credentials, Trace Capsules, the Loop-Gated OAM Pressure Engine, Linux/open verification logic, Digital Mycelium repair routing, and source-return can work as a breathable integrity substrate instead of a brittle trust chain.

Boundary: this is an independent public review simulator. It does not claim endorsement, adoption, approval, certification, production security, C2PA validation authority, Adobe implementation, Linux Foundation adoption, or replacement of existing standards.

Core route

PDF / Document Object → C2PA / Provenance Signal → Trace Capsule → OAM Pressure Engine → Open Verification Logic → Digital Mycelium Repair Routing → Source-Return / Honest Closure
Create → Credential → Display → Capsule → Check → State → Return
Pressure Event → Grit Registration → HIR Orientation ↔ OAM Detection → State Assignment → Repair Routing → Grit Update → Life-First Gate

Layer responsibilities

each layer keeps its job
LayerJobBoundary
PDF / Adobe-style workflowDocument/media body, creation, edit, export, display context.Does not by itself settle interpretation.
C2PA / Content CredentialsProvenance and content-history signal.Credential is not unlimited claim validity.
Trace CapsuleCarries source, boundary, uncertainty, claim scope, consent/scope, return path.Bounded interpretation, not ownership.
OAM Pressure EngineFlags overclaim, source loss, authority blockage, false closure, outsourced judgment.Pressure read, not final authority.
Open verification logicReproducible local review posture outside closed authority boxes. Not production forensics in this static demo.
Digital MyceliumRoutes strain into repair, grit update, life-first/source-return conditions.Structural correspondence, not biological life claim.

What this does not claim

non-claim lock

This simulator does not replace C2PA, Content Credentials, Adobe tools, PDF standards, Linux verification systems, cybersecurity review, journalism, law, science, or human judgment.

It does not prove document truth. It does not certify authenticity. It does not execute uploaded PDF content. It does not claim endorsement, adoption, affiliation, production readiness, or standards-body approval.

Reviewer questions

Where does provenance degrade after it becomes visible? Where does interpretation overclaim the credential? Where does authority block repair? What should be encapsulated instead of forced into output? What can close only for current scope?

Deeper theory note

The substrate is not hardened into brittleness. It preserves invariants while allowing pressure-state movement: HELD, STRAINED, ENCAPSULATED, REPAIRING, REOPENED, FALSE CLOSURE RISK, CLOSED FOR CURRENT SCOPE, or MUST STOP.
